waiting by the mailbox again

I had to return the shoes I ordered.
Bummer.
They did not fit like I wanted.
I ordered a new pair tonight.
I really hope they are what I dream them to be.
My feet would love new shoes to play in.

Finally, band is over for the school year.
I am so happy.
I do not have to wake up that early, at least for a few more months.
I do not have to listen how much my daughter does not like band, does not want to practice, and all the rest.
Three more weeks of school - normal school schedule.
Yay!!!!

only 4 more days

5th grade band is over in 4 days!
I am so thrilled.
Every day I drive our sweet girl and her friends, they tell me how much they dislike band.
I cannot wait for next week.
Sleeping in, no band carpool, and sleeping in.

Yay!

I ordered new running shoes today!!
I cannot wait for them to arrive.
Too bad I am too cheap to pay for super fast shipping.
Hopefully, they will arrive by the end of next week.
And they are purple too!

Sunday dinner = YUM!

I made this tonight!
Of course, I did a vegetarian version of this.
It was soooo good.
I highly recommend for dinner, brunch, or any meal in between.
And the best thing.....my dish turned out just like the picture.
That never happens!

best snack EVER

I made these delicious yogurt chips yesterday, and my kids thought they were the best things EVER!
I loved how quick and easy this treat was.
It only took about 2-3 hours for them to freeze.
I used Tillamook yogurt - flavors peach, lemon, and raspberry.
No pictures were taken because they were eaten up so quickly!
This is definitely a keeper for summer.
We called them yogurt dots.

Wednesday was my final day working in the boy's preschool class.
I am so thrilled I do not have to do that again.
I survived this year of preschool.
I did not think I would.
Cocktails are being enjoyed tonight.
We are celebrating an end of a long journey.
Hooray!!
I graduated preschool this month.

cheerios + peanut butter = goodness

I made some cookies last week.
My daughter had her friends over, and that is the time I like to try new recipes and share the results.
I found this recipes a few months back, and I have been waiting to have Cheerios and peanut butter chips on hand at the same time.
Well, the stars aligned, and I had all the magic ingredients, except the raisins.
I do not care for raisins in my cookies.
This is definitely an easy recipe and makes one good cookie.

I do not think they look like the originals, but I did not make them as big as the recipe called for.
I needed at least 19 cookies, and I did not think I would get that using the size suggested in the recipe.
Needless to say, I will definitely make these again.
They would be great with white or milk chocolate chips.
